DESCRIPTION

"Conservata" Dannata on a handcrafted frame of Piedmontese origin, early 1930s. Typical bicycle defined as 'priest's', identified by a frame with the geometry of a female model, but with the possibility of fitting 28" rims. The construction characteristics that define the Piedmontese origin are the head tube and the double tuning fork rear end, with the upper part with flattened tubes on the inner face (Amerio type), together with lowered and fairing mudguards. Very particular is the colour, which over time has taken on a grey/blue tone, fascinating in the way the years have transformed it.

TECHNICAL FEATURES

The fork with headset and mudguards are the only elements that we can safely give as original, but all other elements, such as bottom bracket and crankset are coeval and present at the time of the Dannata pretraformation recovery, including the large rear rack. 28" R-type rims for 700x35c earth-coloured tyres and 'Torino' type handlebars and honey-coloured Brooks B17 Classic saddle are the only Dannata elements.
